The Slow Experiment

It began as an experiment, a play of water and pigment, watching colors bloom and merge like tiny accidents turning into intention. A snail emerged almost by surprise, its spiral shell echoing the way watercolor itself moves, slow, fluid, patient.

In this piece, the snail became a quiet teacher. Every drop of water, every soft edge reminded me that art doesn’t rush. It seeps, it settles, it finds its own rhythm, much like the snail’s path across the page.

What started as a test became a meditation on slowing down, on letting go of control, and finding beauty in the gentle pace of creation.
